About the Journal

The journal Bioinvasiones publishes scientific articles and reviews on invasive alien species and biological invasions, including reports of new introductions, recent invasions, and management experiences in different types of ecosystems across Latin America and the Caribbean. We are interested in publishing reference materials aimed at management and decision-making, covering topics from prevention, early detection and rapid response to control and the development of policies for the management of invasive alien species and biological invasions in the region. Proposals for special issues derived from symposia, workshops, courses, working groups, or relevant topics that contribute to advancing knowledge, management, and the handling of biological invasions in Latin America and the Caribbean are also welcome.
